Denim is one of those love-hate relationships for me. Don’t get me wrong, I love wearing jeans — but I’d much rather be in sweats ha! That’s why the denim I choose has to be extremely comfortable. Plus, it has to be able to fit my athletic frame. Sometimes, jeans gap in the back but barely fit over my thighs — other times, they can look (and feel) boxy and stiff.

This brand is one that I wear continuously and love them. I love their jeans, tees, and jean shorts too. Depending on the fit, I sometimes have to size up or down in them. If they are a loose or 90s fit (like the ones I’m wearing in this post), I size down one size to a 27. If they’re more fitted, I tend to size up one size.
These are probably my favorite ‘designer’ style jeans that fit me the best, mostly because they don’t gap in the back and make me feel super confident by how they fit me. The fabric is usually pretty comfortable and has some stretch. I stay TTS based off their size guide.
Such a classic denim brand that never goes out of style. They’re affordable but still chic and they have every type of style possible. I typically stay TTS, but I tend to opt for skinnier cuts of Levi’s as they fit me better.
A bit of a splurge, but so worth it. I love all of their styles (and their flares!) + there’s a petite version if you have a smaller frame.
I promise you that you will be able to find a pair of jeans you like at Express. They have every type of fabric, style, color, and wash to choose from. I love that I can also choose their longer version for cuts like bootcut or flares.
Another designer denim brand that’s worth the $. They withstand multiple washes and fit me like a glove. I have a few pairs that have lasted me over 5 years now!
I discovered this brand recently and am so sad that I didn’t know about it sooner. Their jeans are fabulous! So much selection to choose from + a wide array of maternity jean/leggings too.
This probably comes to no surprise, because I love stocking up on all Abercrombie denim. I love their Curve Love line, but the regular line works well too. There’s a cut and shape for everyone, so it makes it easy when I’m shopping for some new denim.
I’ve been a Joe’s Jeans fan for a long time now. Their cigarette ankle jean is a favorite pair of mine. I stay TTS in them and they fit so well. Their classic tanks are also simple, chic, and comfy too.
A go-to for everyone — for good reason. Their high quality denim and everyday staple items are unmatched and their selection of rises and cuts are fabulous. These run TTS for me!

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
