Our to do lists are never-ending. Trust me, I get it. My list always has at least 20 things on it, but there’s no way I can get them all done in one day. I feel like not being able to cross ALL of them off my list makes me feel even more anxious. Picking 5 things off of that *huge* list makes things a bit more manageable and you’ll find yourself being more productive when your list has been narrowed down.
By estimating the time needed for each task, you’ll be able to better plan ahead for other activities in the day {i.e. running an errand, eating lunch, a meeting, etc.}. I like to overestimate the time needed for each task, just in case it takes me longer than expected.
This is pretty self explanatory. Be efficient. Use apps and tools that help you tackle your goals quickly and effectively.
How has it taken me so long to utilize this phone feature?! This has changed the game for my productivity. I’m not gonna lie, I get anxiety just clicking that little button, but it’s like ripping off a bandaid. Once you do it, you’ll be so thankful!
Rank your to do list by importance and tackle the important tasks first! This will also relieve any anxiety you have over those certain tasks over the course of the day.
This is something I love to do once I’ve made my morning coffee. I get it knocked out immediately and it feels oh *so* good.
Implement breaks so that you can chill and give your mind a break. Having breaks, or working in blocks, allows you to be more productive because you’re 100% focused during those blocks.
I love doing this on Sunday. I plan out each day’s work {in blocks} and it allows me to have a schedule to stick to during the week!
I know what it’s like to have your inbox constantly filling up. I honestly could spend all day just responding to emails, but that’s not realistic, because nothing else would get done. If you limit responding to emails to two to three times a day, you can still get your other work done, while not getting distracted by being glued to your inbox.
Routines make everything easier. Create a routine and stick with it!

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
