My trip to Colorado and stay at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch was absolutely amazing! It was so fun to get to meet a few other bloggers that were joining on the trip and we had so many fun things planned. The staff members were SO helpful {and made great tour guides}, and they were always willing to give a helping hand. Their new in-house restaurant that just recently underwent renovations and opened last week is called WYLD. Seriously — so delicious, and their bar was a great place to relax with a glass of wine after a long chilly day. They also have Buffalos, which is on property, and they have the best homemade pretzel I’ve ever tasted. The in-house chefs are extremely talented, y’all. Oh, an can’t forget about Bachelors Lounge for late night cocktails and Anderson’s Cabin for a cozy, intimate dinner setting!
The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch offers so many fun activities, for those days that you don’t feel like skiing. We went snowshoeing and learned all about the area, nature, and quite a few fun facts about aspen trees. The scenery was just beautiful, and our gal, Jackie, who was leading us is SO inspiring and positive. I’m not kidding — one conversation with her, and your life will change for the better. We followed this snowshoeing activity with roasting marshmallows and making s’mores at their outdoor fire pit.
After a fully active day, we indulged in some spa treatments {I had the hot poultice massage!}. Their spa is absolutely stunning, and I could probably spend all day there {forget skiing!}.
Per usual, I ended each day with a killer workout in their newly renovated fitness center! Y’all know how much I LOVE when a resort’s gym is fully stocked. I was pumped to see that the machines were all new, and yes, they indeed have a stairmaster {thank you thank you thank you}.
The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch is also SO close to Vail Village and Beaver Creek Village. We visited both and made a little pit stop at Root & Flower, a quaint wine & cocktail bar, and the White Carpet Club {which is a luxurious and private retreat for skiers that streamlines their access to the mountain}.
The following morning, we ate our little hearts out at a full buffet in their Bachelors Lounge, and did a fun “Whiskey and Woodburning” activity that they offer this time of year. I made a personalized cheese board + coaster set by burning rustic designs into the wooden plates! If you’ve ever smelled wood burning, you’d know how well that smell would pair with some fine whiskey!
I don’t think I could ever go back to the Vail area without making {at the very least} a pit stop at the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch. It’s such a beautiful area and resort — you’ll come back home feeling rejuvenated and reenergized!
A big thank you to the Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch for complimentary experiences.

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
This hotel looks incredible and like a lovely place to get away!
