I’ve just had the best weekend in Atlanta, GA with Atlanta Apparel at AmericasMart.  Although it was a quick trip for the October 2015 Apparel Market, it was such a memorable {and fun} one!

On Friday, Kristin from Living in Color Print, Beth from Seersucker and Saddles, Megan from Lush to Blush, Michelle from Tres Carmen, and I hosted a panel that focused on ‘growing your business’ via social media, working with bloggers, etc.  I was pretty excited for this panel, because I love discussing what I do with others! I was so surprised by the amount of people in the audience, the number of questions we received, and also the enthusiasm that was brought by them.  We bloggers {and shop owner} bounced off of each other and conversed so easily–it was quite fun and even eye opening, as well!

We then proceeded to watch a fashion show that showcased such cute outfits and amazing runway decor! The ambiance was set with dim lighting, cocktails, hanging floral decor, and a sleek white runway.  It was the perfect event to end Day 1 at AmericasMart!

On Saturday, after a hefty brunch and some exploring, we continued Day 2 at the Atlanta Apparel Market by starting off with a ‘Blogger Lunch & Learn’.  We first discussed all about affiliate marketing, then followed that topic by answering more questions from the audience about properly utilizing social media to your advantage {and all of that good stuff}.  That’s actually my favorite topic to talk about!  So, if you ever run into me and ask me for some advice about it, good luck…because I’ll chat for HOURS!

Following the Lunch & Learn, we joined some local bloggers and did a fun ‘blogger crawl’of AmericasMart.  This was so exciting, because we walked the show floors and got to experience some of the fab items in the showrooms.  If I had a dollar for every time I said “I want this!”….  Also, AmericasMart is SO big {see pics above}, so needless to say, my feet were killin’ me by the end of it! Note to self: wear flats when walking the floors!

We ended this fun trip with a fabulous cocktail party, sponsored by Reeves & Company, a premier showroom located in both Atlanta {at AmericasMart} and Dallas.  They represent brands like KUT, Yumi, Ciao Milano, Bobeau, and many more!  Everyone was so hospitable and the spring preview, of course, had me drooling!
