One thing that we have loved to do since being married is creating new holiday traditions. The holidays are always so fun and beautiful, and we’ve been trying to incorporate holiday traditions into our lives that we can pass on to our future kiddos one day! Here are a few that we’ve been loving!

We actually started doing this when we were dating! It was so much fun (and honestly, very disorganized), but it was such a great memory that we continued to do it annually! We make our Christmas sugar cookies from scratch, cut them into the cutest little shapes, and (over)frost them. This is something that my parents did with me and my siblings growing up, so it’s fun to incorporate that tradition into our lives now. This year we’re also going to have making a yule log cake on 12/23 a tradition too! If you want a super fun one, one of my best friends’ family always bakes the cake on the cover of Southern Living every year. I’ve always thought that was a cute idea!
Every Christmas Eve, we watch Christmas Vacation after we go to mass + eat dinner with the family! It’s so nice to unwind and watch a Christmas classic at home before going to bed and waiting for Santa.
This is by far my favorite Christmas tradition! J and I usually make an evening of it, we grab a quick bite to eat and then head to our favorite stores to shop for our angels. This is a great way to give back during the holiday season!

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
Love your blog but just noticed your rug! Can you please share where it’s from…those colors are gorgeous!
