Sometimes a DIY Christmas Gift is better than actually purchasing one! This one is a quick and easy DIY and it’s also a great option for a last minute gift or a hostess gift. Here are M&M Christmas Cookie Bars in a jar. We actually make this every year and it’s one of our favorite recipes (it’s also so easy to make). Just a heads up that the usual recipes call for white chocolate chips, but I find it a little too rich — so I usually nix them. Feel free to add a handful though!

Note: make sure to pack the brown sugar down against the mason jar, on top of the flour, salt, & baking soda, so that the sugar on top doesn’t slide down the jar (it happened slightly in the photo!). It’ll make the jar look more ‘layered’.

recipe yields ~12 bars, depending on how you cut them!
DIRECTIONS:
I added a cute little ribbon to the mason jar with a recipe card that explains how to make them! You can tie the recipe card on it or use it as a holiday card.
Here is a free printable! Hole punch a hole in the corner and slide the ribbon in it around the mason jar!

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
Can you publish the recipe card as a free printable?? Thank you for sharing!!
