Can you all believe it’s the end of August!? Where did our summer go?! Although fall is around the corner, temps are still a bit high here in KY, so I’m all about those transitional outfits. It can get tricky when choosing an outfit this time of year, but I’m here to give y’all some of my go-to tips + my fave Shopbop brands that I look at to get my wardrobe ready for fall!
I’ve been loving the unitard trend — mostly because it’s SO comfortable and it’s great for that awkward transitional weather where you want to dress like fall but it definitely doesn’t feel like fall. I typically wear them as a layering piece and highly recommend it! I bought two recently that are linked above. The one I’m wearing in the photo is by LnA, but my Girlfriend Collective unitard is just as lovely — the fabric is similar to that of activewear. Pair a loose denim shacket on top for a laid back feel + my favorite Veja sneakers. Some of my go-to brands for denim shirts and jackets are Blank NYC and Free People.
Another tip for transitional style would have to be to invest in some really good denim. These distressed 90’s jeans are a fave of mine and instantly makes an outfit chic! AGOLDE has tons of really great denim styles, along with Citizens of Humanity for unique and flattering denim.
For more great fall brands that will spice up your closet, try out Anine Bing for an elevated graphic tee or sweatshirt or ASTR the Label for fall hues.
What type of style do you usually opt for during the transitional months?
Thank you to Shopbop for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
