I always get questions about the supplements I take, so I thought it would be a good idea to chat about a few items that are in my daily routine to prepare for my workout, as well as recover! I snag so many of my fitness supplements from Walmart — they’re always at amazing prices {if you’re not careful, supplements can get pricey} AND the best part is that you can get 2 day delivery! I hate when I run out of something and know I won’t get the items I order until 5-6 days later.

Many of you know that I love me some energy! I used to take pre-workout religiously, but now I only take it if I’m feeling lethargic that day. Some days are just long and I need a little boost of caffeine. The perk of pre-workout is that it has caffeine + additional performance benefits. It allows you to maximize your efforts in the gym!
During my workout, I sip on my branched chain amino acids {BCAAs}! This aids in muscle recovery + keeps you hydrated. This is by far my fave brand and love that it’s carried at Walmart!
I always try to get in some protein within an hour of working out! I love sipping on protein shakes when I need some quick macro-friendly protein. They have 30 g of protein and taste so good. However, it can be difficult to pack a cold shake with you to the gym when you’re on the go, so I love keeping these protein bars around just in case! They taste like a dessert and don’t have that weird whey protein after taste {you know what I’m talking about!}.

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
