I had such an amazing girls trip with my sister this past week! We only spent a few days at One Ocean Resort & Spa, but the travel time was totally worth the few days of R&R! One Ocean Resort & Spa is located outside of Jacksonville, FL on Atlantic Beach.  It’s situated in between the cutest little storefronts and restaurants + it’s right on the beach.  We were so excited to spend a few days there and it did not disappoint!

The room was spacious and comfortable! I loved our oceanfront view.  It was so calming to wake up to every morning.  Truly, nothing is better than sipping your morning coffee out on this balcony!

Did you see that drawer of goodies? They are all included with your room! The fridge was stocked with bottled waters and juices too.  This was such a huge perk for me.  I love snacks, don’t get me wrong, but having access to the mini fridge without a charge took the cake for me.

The best part? They even have a docent service! Docents are ‘instinctive’ hosts, packing and unpacking items, steaming clothes, shining shoes, stocking amenity cabinets with items personally selected by the guests and delivering a hot beverage of choice each morning. So many properties don’t have this service, so it was nice feeling ‘spoiled’ for a little bit!

I made a pit-stop at their spa, which was so relaxing! The women’s area had just been renovated and is so luxurious — plus there are day beds to relax in that face the ocean! You can get a massage, facial, or get your nails done.

The pool area at One Ocean Resort & Spa was so much fun {and relaxing}.  I loved that there was a pool bar/restaurant to snag some yummy fruity cocktails and lunch! Near the pool was their 24 hour fitness center, which I made sure I visited! It was so spacious, stocked with not only cardio machines, but weight machines as well.

Our dinner at Azurea, the on-site restaurant, was probably one of the most delicious meals we’ve ever had! I sipped on some rose, while trying to decide how to narrow down the menu.  The beet salad was so yummy, along with the ahi tuna appetizer and lamb chops entree.  The view of the beach was also a lovely perk!

The beach is a short walk from the pool — only a few steps.  Oh, and the beach chairs/umbrella are complimentary with the stay.  Yes, please!

One Ocean Resort & Spa was such a beautiful property, and we can’t wait to go back again! The location is perfect, and the luxury that comes with the stay is *amazing*.  If you’re planning your next girls trip {or vacay getaway}, definitely consider a stay at One Ocean!
