Today’s post is a fun one! With the New Year in full swing, I know how it can be difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Needless to say, I share tons of fitness tips over on FITwithASD {and @fitwithasd}, but today’s blog post is more of a ‘fitness faves’ type of post.

I’m sharing my fave fitness snacks and hacks with Walmart, so that you can stick to your New Years Resolutions.  Word on the street is that it takes 21 days to form a habit! If you’re feeling like giving up, try to *stick it out* for at least the remainder of the week! These fitness snacks and hacks will help you stay on track, so that you can reach your fitness goals.

  1. Scivation Xtend BCAAs: I love snagging my BCAAs from Walmart, because not only do they have the best deals, but also the best flavors! BCAAs are branched chain amino acids, which promotes muscle protein synthesis, aids in muscle recovery, and can potentially prevent fatigue during a workout. I drink mine during my training sessions!
  2. Kodiak Cakes: Honestly, it’s the yummiest treat of all and it’s not even a cheat! This pancake and waffle mix is loaded with protein and Walmart carries it in such fun flavors like dark chocolate, peanut butter, or cinnamon oat.
  3. Nature’s Bounty Probiotic 10: Try incorporating a daily probiotic into your everyday routine! Gut health is such an important addition to a healthy lifestyle, and you’ll notice a difference in how regular you are + a decrease in bloat!
  4. Cellucor C4: For those days where you’re lacking energy, try giving C4 a go. Pre-workout gives you that boost of energy that you need when you’re struggling to get to the gym AND it aids in muscle endurance {and recovery}.
  5. Zone Perfect Fudge Graham Bars: I honestly love all of the Zone Perfect protein bars, but fudge graham would have to be my favorite! They’re all so macro-friendly too!
  6. Lenny and Larry Complete Cookie: I only snag these from Walmart, because they’re sometimes difficult to find! Pop one in the microwave for 15 seconds and your life will be forever changed for the better.
  7. Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein Powder: Having a reliable protein powder is important on those days when you can’t quite squeeze all of your protein in.  I love the Optimum Nutrition Vanilla flavor! Plus, vanilla is a good all-around flavor to keep on hand for you to throw in shakes, oatmeal, pancakes, etc.

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
