Hey girl! What's Your Signature Latte? Whether it's a frothy latte or a cold brew, your personality shines through. Find out what your java ingredients are!
Well, today’s post is a fun one! I’m sharing how I threw my bridal luncheon at Seviche — a restaurant in Louisville, KY that features modern Latin American flavors!
The bridal luncheon was one of the *many* wedding events that was very important to me. I wanted to show how much I appreciate each and every bridesmaid. Many of you know that Seviche holds a special place in my and J’s hearts! I remember date nights to Seviche early on in our relationship with countless hours of chit chatting at their bar over a glass of wine and yummy apps. We then went to Seviche the night of our engagement {almost exactly a year ago!}. and it always brings us such joy to share in a date night there.
Not only is the atmosphere *amazing*, but the food even more so. Chef Anthony Lamas provides a menu with modern Latin American traditions and Southern ingredients. J & I {plus my whole fam} loves Seviche because it truly is the best food in town. I’m honestly not just saying that. Chef’s menu is just that good.
So, needless to say, Seviche is our go-to for any and every date night, which is why I knew it would be the perfect fit for the bridal luncheon!

The most delicious menu was set up for the girls. We had appetizers in the lounge to begin with and then moved our way over to the beautifully decorated table!
Did I mention the mimosa bar was AHMAZING. I truly have never tried fresh guava juice in my champagne, but I clearly need to make that a thing.
I remember feeling so grateful and excited on 10/26! The following day was the most important & best day of my life. I knew I was going to get no sleep that night!
This is my favorite area to sit at Seviche! If there’s ever a table open over there, I try to snag it! There’s just something about those glass windows, a good bottle of wine, even better food, and sitting across from your husband.
How gorgeous are these florals that were on the table? They nailed it.
Seviche’s lounge is one spot that many people are unfamiliar with! If you follow along on Insta Story, then you know this is J’s fave spot to watch a Kentucky game! The lounge is open all the time and you can grab a drink and chill in there OR even eat dinner in there. They had the lounge stocked with yummy appetizers for us to hang out and nibble on before heading to the table.
Additionally, in a separate room in the back, Seviche offers “Dinner and a Movie“. Different themed movies with a set dinner! Each event includes a welcome cocktail reception, a custom menu curated to match the feature film, and includes five unique courses with wine pairings. It’s the perfect date night, so snag a ticket over here!
This little white dress was the perfect outfit for the bridal luncheon! It’s so flattering too, and I love the ruffles!
Here are my best girlfriends! I am so grateful to have them in my life! Autumn, Valerie, Marilyn {MOH & my sis}, Alex, Maddie, and Anastasia: all stunners, right?!
Cheers to the bridesmaids, y’all!
Chef Lamas is seriously a wizard in the kitchen. I don’t know how he does it. He has received countless award too, like Culinary Expert at Bar Rescue, Restaurant of the Year, Best Chef, and more. If you’re interested in spicing up your food for the holidays, check out his cookbook, Southern Heat! I’m pretty sure Jordan and I could talk to Chef for hours if no one pulls us away.
These are the two appetizers that Seviche was serving in the Lounge. Their guacamole and their pecan crusted brie: two of my fave appetizers of theirs!
The first course was a salad option. I opted for their Caesar salad, which has tortilla crisps, pumpkin seeds, and manchego. Others wanted the KY Bibb salad with strawberries, pecans, and goat cheese!
For the main dish, there was a choice of salmon with toasted macadamia rice, soy ginger butter, and charred shishitos OR their skirt steak with papas fritas & chimichurri. Every time we go to Seviche, I get their skirt steak, because it’s the best I have EVER had {I’m not exaggerating people, it’s lifechanging}. Everyone at the table ordered skirt steak HA, so I decided to go with the salmon. Both were phenomenal!
What wedding diet? This strawberries & cream puff pastry with balsamic and vanilla custard….need I say more?
Overall, this was such an amazing bridal lunch and if you’re planning one for your bridesmaids, always keep in mind how much they mean to you! It’s all about celebrating THEM. I had a gift waiting on the table for each one of them, which isn’t necessary, but I wanted to show them how grateful I am.
Seviche is not only our go-to date night spot, but now apparently, my girlfriends’ spot too haha! We already have plans to go there for dinner during the holidays when everyone is back in town! You can check out Seviche’s full menu here!
A big thank you to Seviche for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
