Hey friends! Happy Wednesday! This week is flying by, thanks to the 3-day weekend.  As many of y’all have seen on Insta Story, I teamed up with Corbett Cosmetic to share with you some info on liquid rhinoplasty.

Now, I’m not opposed to any work being done — I’m all about the ‘whatever makes you happy, you do you’ attitude.  I’ve never wanted full rhinoplasty.  Two of my family members and a couple of friends got nose jobs, and I saw how gruesome the process can be.  The bruised faces are probably the worst part of what I remember!

I don’t think anything is wrong with my nose.  Like any gal, I had a few insecurities, specifically about my nose, but never wanted a *new* nose.  I like my face.  I like my nose. But, there were some parts that I would love to have “fixed”.  I knew I would never get a nose job {I don’t have a deviated septum haha and can you imagine me not being able to hit the gym for months?! I’d go stir crazy!}, so I just figured a little bit of makeup contour could fix what I couldn’t.

Then, I stumbled upon liquid rhinoplasty at Corbett Cosmetic.  Honestly, I’ve seen it on Instagram — before and after photos of people’s noses using only Restylane — but I had no idea that this service was available in Louisville.

I went in for a consultation at Corbett Cosmetic, and I learned all about the procedure.  There was no pressure.  I took a few weeks to think it over and discuss it with J.  I decided that I wanted to give it a try, and so, here we are…

Here’s pretty much all you need to know about utilizing fillers in your nose! Ashton from Corbett Cosmetic used Restylane {about half of a syringe — keep in mind, 10 syringes make up a small ketchup packet}.  They utilized topical numbing cream and the actual product being injected, Restylane, has lidocaine in it, as well.  The whole procedure took about 20 minutes {including numbing}.  They injected Restylane at the top of my nose {to fix a subtle bump} and at the tip of my nose to bring the nose “upwards”.  Although product is being added to the nose and it’s technically getting ‘larger’, the overall appearance of the nose is smaller due to where the product is placed.  Light catches the nose at different spots then it did before.

The whole procedure was quick and painless.  They told me I would feel a prick that might hurt when injecting, but I barely felt anything.  I get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded — if you’ve ever gotten that done, then you know what real pain is ha!

At Corbett Cosmetic, the full treatment is $600 {regardless of how much Restylane is needed for the procedure}, and it includes a 2 week follow-up.  It also lasts 10-12 months {so, it is temporary}!

I went immediately to the grocery after the procedure to pick up some goodies for Memorial Day Weekend, and then headed out for date night.  My face was completely fine the whole weekend.  My nose never bruised {it was a little tender at the tip for a day though}.

Honestly, I love how it turned out! Many people *probably* won’t notice the difference until they see a side-by-side. I doubt anyone is aggressively staring at my nose, but with this procedure, you can see a change in the profile.  I can personally see a difference and it makes me SO happy that the downward curve of my nose has been lifted a bit! My dad {who has received rhinoplasty} was *shook* by the before and after photos.  It’s crazy that something like that can be done non-surgically!
