I’m so excited to share my New Hampshire Fall Travel Guide with y’all today! It was such a fun few days exploring the state with Katie from Katie’s Bliss and Sydney from SummerWind! We flew into Boston and drove to our first stop: Peterborough in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire.
We grabbed lunch at the cutest and most ‘eclectic’ spot called ‘Harlow’s Pub‘. I ordered such an amazing salad — but their menu is quite extensive. We enjoyed our afternoon sitting on their patio, and they have a live band that performs on the weekends!

Obviously, after lunch, we had quite the sweet tooth. So, we stopped at Ava Marie Chocolates where we indulged in some seriously good truffles AND got to chomp down on the largest sundae ever {35 scoops of ice cream}, topped with a piece of chocolate in the shape of a moose {fitting, right?}.

I was so excited to check into the Hancock Inn for our first night in New Hampshire! It’s the cutest bed and breakfast and one of the oldest inns in New England {since 1789}. Its traditional and cozy vibes were perfect for some relaxation time! The owners, Marcia and Jarvis, were so accommodating and kind.

How cute is the front of this Inn? So inviting! Their ‘Fox Tavern‘ has the yummiest suppers! We actually decided to venture into town again, and we had dinner had Waterhouse for a delicious farm-to-table meal.
We decided to take a scenic drive — and Syd was 100% trying to cross paths with a moose {thank God we didn’t ha!}. Instead of stumbling across a moose, we found something much better: an iconic covered bridge. We had to pull over and snap a few photos!

After a peaceful night at the Hancock Inn, we made our way to the White Mountains, specifically Woodstock, NH, but we made a pit stop in Concord. We stopped by a local farm {Dimond Hill Farm} to shop for some pumpkins, and we *may* have snagged some apple cider donuts while we were there. The owner was so sweet and told us about a cute little orchard not too far away.
When we finally made our way to Carter Hill Orchard, the morning fog had disappeared and the sun was starting to peak out. We could immediately smell the apples when we arrived! Another orchard not to far away is Stone Brook Hill Farm in Gilford, NH {located in the Lakes Region}, where you can pick your own apples and blueberries. You can even snag some maple products there too!
We had heard so many great things about the Flume Gorge, so we decided to swing by to see what all the hype was about. It was truly so gorgeous! I unfortunately didn’t pack proper ‘hiking’ material so we didn’t actually do the hike(s), but there were some pretty great trails listed on the map.

This little town — named quite literally for that– Littleton, NH, was actually an impromptu stop. There was an adorable brewery on the water with a walkable covered bridge {Schilling Beer Company}. Their downtown area had the coolest little shops and restaurants. I even found a cute little sign offering free ale. Don’t mind if I do…

We stayed at the RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain while in the White Mountains region. It was quite different than our previous stay at Hancock Inn. The resort was a little more modern {with huge rooms} and had some typical amenities that you would see in large hotels. Their fitness center was amazing, for those of y’all who saw on my Insta Story! Did you know that the huge pool turns into an ice skating rink during the winter?! Woodstock definitely would be such a fun ski town! I may have to make another trip during freezing temps!
Woodstock has some pretty cute local shops too. The moose strikes again, right? Ha!
Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery was the next stop on our list for dinner. The menu was so large that it was hard to settle on something to eat! Everything looked {and tasted} amazing. They have a restaurant, lodging, and brewery. Plus, there’s even live entertainment! We ordered the ‘kitchen sink nachos’ to start — friggin’ amazing, y’all.
Unfortunately, after a short few days, I received a travel alert due to the winds hitting the Northeast from the current hurricanes and had to change my flight to an earlier date. However, Katie and Sydney were able to explore Portsmouth for the day before they left. The photos of their day are below {photos are c/o Katie}! They explored Commercial Alley, ate some lobster rolls & oysters at Row 34, and indulged in some sweet treats at Popovers. Needless to say, I was definitely jealous!
P.S. if you’re ever in the Lakes Region, I suggest visiting Stone Brook Hill Farm like I mentioned before, as well as the Lakehouse Grille, Hermit Woods Winery, and Naswa Resort for a cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee {New Hampshire’s
biggest lake}.
Overall, this trip was such a fun one — full of fall activities, perfect weather, stunning scenery, and delicious food! I hope y’all enjoyed my New Hampshire Fall Travel Guide! This trip was definitely one for the books.
A big thank you to the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism, Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce, White Mountains Attractions, Lakes Region Association, and Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth for complimentary experiences. As always, all opinions are my own.

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
Now if only we could get actual fall weather here in the south!
xx,
Lacey
