Have y’all thought about your New Years Resolution(s)? I’ve been thinking about mine and can’t decide on one — I have a few that are potential resolutions.  I typically never choose an athletic/health resolution, because I try to live a healthy and active lifestyle all the time, regardless of resolutions and whatnot.

I think this year I might go with living more in the present.  I tend to constantly think about the future {always, what’s next} rather than just enjoying the present.  Focus more on the ‘now’, ya know? For me, that’s something that has always been difficult, so I think living in the present would be beneficial!

For a less intense resolution, I kind of want to fine-tune my baking skills.  I’d like to think I’m a pretty good cook {I get it from my mama}, but baking is a whole different ball game.  It reminds me of chem labs back in college {which I was horrible at}. I’m not one for following rules and instructions — I like to go with my intuition, which is why I love cooking so much.  However, with baking, you HAVE to follow the directions or else, it’s tragic.
