So, since today is the Monday right after Christmas, I decided to skip this week’s ‘weekly workout routine’ for y’all.  I don’t know about you, but I need to seriously re-group after all of these holiday feasts! If I somehow manage to get to the gym today to start off the week right, I’ll be following the workout routine from this past fitness post!

Today is actually my birthday {say whaaat}, but I’m en route from VA back to KY {an 8 hour car ride with my family and trust me, I’d rather be spending my birthday NOT traveling ha!}.  I’ve been really blessed with another great year.  I’m not gonna lie, I feel like 23 was a tough one for me…a lot of changes happened and I was forced out of my comfort zone in huge ways, but I couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out.  I traveled to so many new places, bought my first home, became independent {and single for the first time in 4 years}, and learned how to not only be alone, but also how to make some {spiked} lemonade, when life hands you lemons– and I couldn’t have done it without the guidance of my family and close friends.

I’m super excited for what 24 has to offer, and I’m feeling REALLY good about 2017 — just sayin’, y’all! Hope y’all have a great Monday!
