A girl’s trip to the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Lake Oconee is probably the best way to kick off the holiday season! I was lucky enough to spend it with some of my best gal pals: Sydney, Danielle, Katie, and Carly! Lake Oconee is about 1.5 hrs south of Atlanta, so we first flew into ATL and spent the night at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead,which was absolutely stunning.  The location was great {right across from the mall haaaay}.  We indulged in some delicious food and drinks on their club level, like caviar, champs, and some fine desserts.  The next morning, we took a shuttle to Ritz Carlton Reynolds Lake Oconee where we were greeted by friendly staff — who didn’t mind ALL of the bags we brought {I mean, 5 bloggers can do some serious damage}.

The whole property was so rustic and beautiful.  The scenery was some of the prettiest I’ve seen, and that lake was just stunning.  There was even a hot cider bar in the lobby, complimentary for guests.  I also loved all of the activities that were available — trust me, you’d never get bored.  We stayed in one of the cottages that was big enough to fit all of us + our luggage! The family room was decorated to perfection, and we had a great view of the lake and golf course.  The staff also welcomed us with the cutest sangria bar! It was almost too pretty to indulge in.

Overall, this trip was so much fun! Their amenities were perfect for this type of stay.  I took advantage of their decked out fitness center, and their spa was absolutely amazing {I loved their seasonal menu that included a s’mores inspired pedicure!}.  Their restaurants on property were great {my fave was Gaby’s by the Lake}, and every night, we roasted some marshmallows and made s’mores by their bonfire on the main property.

If you’re looking for a great place to get away for a weekend {or longer}, then I definitely recommend the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Lake Oconee.  It is just as breathtaking as it looks!
