As many of y’all know, I spent this week at the beautiful Omni Homestead Resort and Spa in Hot Springs, VA! I ended up flying into Roanoke with Danielle and the resort was only about an hour and a half away.  We lucked out with the weather, because it was gorgeous and sunny the whole week we were there!

Upon arrival, I was instantly shocked by how large the Omni Homestead Resort and Spa is! It’s unreal, y’all.  Did you know that it’s one of the oldest resorts in the U.S.? The resort itself has such great history, and so does the quaint little town that it exists in.

Once we arrived to the Omni, we were greeted by the friendliest of staff {who didn’t judge us for asking 101 questions about what kind of activities are offered, directions to and from places, etc}.  There was always something to do there, trust me! You can go skeet shooting, ride horses, play golf/tennis, have a spa day, be poolside, or just enjoy the outdoors.  As you can see from the pictures above, the rooms were spacious with the decor staying classic and timeless.

Also, there were 4 main dinner restaurants on property that we absolutely loved {you can see their list here}! All of the food there was ah-mazing!  I mean, y’all probably saw the breakfast buffet from my snapchat! I was in breakfast heaven.

One day, we took a little break from work and grabbed a coffee at the cafe located inside of the lobby, and we just sat outside in their infamous white rocking chairs to ‘chill’ for  a little bit.  It was so peaceful and relaxing that I had wished I could stay in that moment forever….however, I couldn’t do so because a s’mores kit was patiently waiting for me by their bonfire {with a glass of pinot noir in hand, of course}.

Needless to say, it was seriously a magical stay, and I can see why so many people call this place their home away from home.  If you’re looking for a ‘staple’ resort that is great during all times of the year {during the winter, you can ski!}, then definitely check out the Omni Homestead Resort and Spa!
