This Penfield fleece vest is the coziest item that I have in my fall and winter closet! I layered it over a burgundy plaid popover shirt from Madewell and was so happy with the results.  Mostly, I was concerned with comfort, since I was pumpkin picking. It was quite chilly when I searched for my next {pumpkin} victim, so these layers and fleece vest saved my booty.  If you’re looking for a few great fall vests, these have been on my wish list: this tassel vest, this taupe vest {I actually have this & LOVE it! It runs TTS}, and this staple herringbone vest.

Anyways, later on in the week, I ended up carving this pumpkin and toasting the pumpkin seeds {I love tossing the seeds with some olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder!}.  It was the perfect fall activity that I’ve been itching to do.
