These cutout crop leggings are the cutest leggings I’ve ever seen! They’re perfect for any type of activity like yoga, running, or lifting.  I’m also so smitten with this pullover {I mean, just look at that back!}.  I’ve been wearing it for on-the-go outfits {it’s perfect for athleisure} or over a tank for when I warm-up before lifting, etc.

If you’re a fan of these cutout leggings, then you’re definitely going to like these tie wrap around leggings and these soft green leggings! Also, I linked a few similar sports bra options, but this sports bra is the exact one I’m wearing {I sized up one size}.

I also wanted to let y’all know that there are a few features that are new here on A Southern Drawl! If you check out the Daily Fix, I’ll be sharing all sorts of different things that are not shared on my social channels or as blog posts.  This is where I’ll share fitness videos {examples of how to do certain exercises}, some fave recipes, behind the scenes videos/pictures, and stuff from my Snapchat and Instagram Story! You can even narrow it down by category too! I encourage y’all to check it out, let me know your thoughts, and leave any recommendations for future content that you would like to see {especially certain exercises that you’d like to see too}.

And, with that exciting news, here is my weekly workout routine!

Monday: Legs {Quads, Hamstrings, Glutes, Calves} + HIIT

  • Cable Squats: 10 reps, 3 sets
  • EZ Barbell Reverse Lunges: 10 reps each leg, 3 sets
  • Sumo Squats {use low pulley cable + V-Bar attachment for weight}: 12 reps, 3 sets

*do 15 burpees after each set*

  • Hamstring Curls: 12 reps both legs, 12 reps each leg, 4 sets
  • Leg Extensions: 28 method, 4 sets
  • Curtsy Lunges on Smith Machine using Step: 10 reps each side, 4 sets

*do 15 burpees after each set*

  • End with weighted walking lunges {100 total}! Take breaks as needed.

Tuesday: Shoulders + HIIT

  • Alternating Front Raises: 8 reps each arm, 4 sets
  • Alternating Dumbell Shoulder Press: 8 reps each arm, 4 sets
  • Upright Rows using Cable: 12 reps, 4 sets
  • Alternating Lateral Raises: 8 reps each arm, 4 sets
  • Cable Rear Delt Face Pulls: 15 reps, 4 sets
  • Car Drivers: 30 total, 4 sets

Wednesday: Take a Full Body Class, typically focuses on core & glutes

Thursday: Chest & Triceps + 45 min of Cardio

  • Chest Flyes on Cable Machine: 12 reps, 3 sets
  • Tricep Pulldowns with Rope: 28 method, 3 sets
  • Decline Push-Ups: 15 reps, 3 sets
  • Alternating Tricep Kickbacks: 12 reps each arm, 3 sets
  • Incline Chest Press: 12 reps, 3 sets
  • Tricep Pushdowns: 10 normal reps, 10 halfway pulses, 3 sets
  • Dumbbell Chest Flyes on Exercise Ball: 10 reps, 3 sets
  • Tricep Skullcrushers on flat bench with EZ Barbell: 10 reps, 3 sets

Friday: Legs {Mostly Glutes} & Abs + HIIT

  • EZ Barbell Bench Thrusts: 10 normal reps, 10 pulses, 5 slow reps with a 5 second squeeze at the top, 4 sets
  • EZ Barbell Front Squats {full range! get low!}: 12 reps, 4 sets

*do 40 mountain climbers after each set*

  • Kickbacks Using Cable Machine: 12 reps each leg, 4 sets
  • Abductors Using Cable Machine: 12 reps each leg, 4 sets

*do 40 mountain climbers after each set*

  • Weighted Lunges on Smith Machine: 30 total reps, 3 sets
  • Reverse Squat Machine: 12 reps, 5 pulses, 3 sets

Saturday: Back & Biceps + HIIT

  • Conventional Deadlifts: 8 reps, 3 sets
  • Isometric Bicep Curls: 15 reps each arm, 3 sets
  • EZ Barbell Pullovers: 12 reps, 3 sets
  • EZ Barbell Curls: 21 method, 3 sets
  • V-Bar Kneeling Cable Rows: 8 reps {hold after each rep}, 3 sets
  • Wide Grip Lat Pulldown: 8 reps, 3 sets
  • Preacher Curls: 12 reps each arm, 3 sets
  • One Arm Cable Pulldown: 8 reps each arm, 3 sets
  • Weighted Hyperextensions: 10 reps, 3 sets

Sunday: Rest Day {or you can do cardio if you’re feeling frisky!}

    Quick question on the work outs – when it says, for example, to do 15 burpees between each set does that mean to do a set of each exercise and then the burpees or exercise burpees exercise burpees etc? Hope that makes sense!

    Do the grey capris show sweat when you workout? I’m so nervous wearing any bottoms other than black!

    • Any leggings that aren’t black {well, even some of my black ones haha} still show sweat! I sweat A LOT. If you’ve ever seen my gym snaps, then you probably know what I’m talking about. But, the darker the color, the less noticeable the sweat is. I don’t mind some sweat marks, since I work out so hard — and most people understand that it’s just sweat {considering my face is dripping with sweat too lol}.

    What HIIT do you recommend on the Tuesday and Saturday of this workout week?

    On the days you do burpees or sprints in between sets is that considered your HIIT? or just part of the workout and then you do 20 minutes of HIIT on top of everything?

    • Hi! I do HIIT on top of it but not for a full 20 minutes. I’ll sometimes do 10 or 15 minutes on a cardio machine, and then also do the burpees/sprints in between sets. Some days, I’m just not feeling it, so I won’t do any extra HIIT — while other days I have more energy than I know what to do with, so I’ll maybe do that extra HIIT haha. Totally up to you! Technically, the sprints/burpees in between should be more than enough to keep your heart rate up throughout the exercise! Hope that helps and thanks for stopping by!

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another.
