This embroidered peasant top was one of the first outfits I wore while in Napa. We were running late {cough cough, possssssibly my fault}, and I grabbed the first thing out of my suitcase. I was pleased to see that what I had put on was this embroidered peasant top.
I purchased this bad boy before my trip, but hadn’t tried it on {oops}, since Free People typically is true to size for me. I’m so happy with the way it turned out! It was so cute paired with these high rise denim shorts and it can be worn with skinny jeans or even a skirt. I dressed it down in this outfit with these fringe sandals, but you can easily throw on some heels and be good to go!
The material is super lightweight, and yes, it’s definitely thin, but it was never crazy see through or anything. I didn’t need to wear a bandeau or a tank underneath — just a standard nude strapless bra did the trick.
What are your thoughts on this embroidered peasant top? Do you love it as much as me?!

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
Love this from head to toe. Gorgeous top!!

Loving the white on white – so pretty with your dark hair! And the pops of bright color are too fun!

This top looks so effortless on you, you’ve convinced me to buy it! However, when I looked it up, some reviewers said it fell off their shoulders but yours seems to fit perfectly (or did it fall off?). I like how yours is loose around the waist area, too. I’m a size 27, usually S or M. What size was your top in?
Hi Cassi! It didn’t fall off my shoulders, but I’ve also got an athletic build, so maybe that has something to do with it? Not too sure. I’m typically a 27/28 — size 4/6, and I’m wearing a size small! Hope that helps!
Yes, that’s a big help! Most bloggers don’t list the size they purchased/wear, but when they do it’s a very helpful (esp. in brands that run all over the place like Free People can…at least for me they do). Most bloggers also don’t reply to comments, but getting back to those that ask is a huge help to your readers, like myself. Thank you so much!
