This pink fit and flare dress is one of the most perfect spring staples.  Well, to be honest, any color fit and flare dress is a great addition to your closet, but what can I say? I’m a fan of pink.  Since the Kentucky Derby is right around the corner, I always receive questions on what to wear to the derby and other things involving derby attire.  So, this week, I’ll be sharing some fabulous Derby looks to not only get y’all in the spirit, but to show you the many outfits that I would wear to this fun event!

This year, I decided to only do the Kentucky Oaks, and for those of you who don’t know, the Oaks is a pink-out.  It supports Horses & Hope, which is an organization that increases breast cancer awareness and Churchill Downs typically donates quite a large sum to it.  A dollar of every Oaks Lily {their ‘official’ cocktail} purchased gets donated, as well! And, if you’re debating between the mint julep or the lily, my suggestion is to get both ha!

Anyways, since Oaks is always a pink-out, this pink fit and flare dress from Vineyard Vines is perfect for that day of horse racing and fun! This dress also has pockets too — which are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also useful when you’re frantically trying to buy a cocktail, bet on a horse, say hi to the 100 people you run into, and then get to your seat before the next race starts.
