I had such a lovely trip to Charleston, SC with my best gal pals Danielle & Sydney! We spent the week at Zero George Street Boutique Hotel in the heart of Charleston and loved every second of it.  To begin with, we arrived in Charleston to an amazing brunch at Cannon Green.  Not only was the decor & vibe of the restaurant perfect, but the food & drinks were even better.  It was by far one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever seen.

We then headed to Zero George to check in and it was like walking into a fairy tale.  It’s comprised of a few buildings that are arranged to form a courtyard in the middle {where you see the adorable bikes and beautiful blooms}.  The buildings are as old as the 1800s! There are these cute turquoise bikes that are provided by the hotel to allow you to explore the city too! This hotel was by far the most quaint, yet stunning, place I have ever experienced.  It was almost as if I was staying at a family member’s home {who had really good decor taste and amazing cooking skills #wishfulthinking}.

Each room is provided with cold water bottles, izze sparkling drinks, as well as a nespresso machine for when you need your coffee fix.  During turndown service, a big jug of water + chocolate covered pretzels are left conveniently on your night table.  A complimentary continental breakfast of freshly baked muffins, fresh fruit, assortment of pastries, etc. is provided daily to help you kick start your day, while a complimentary happy hour of wine & a cheese board is provided daily to help you relax after your day.  They also have a deal with a full gym two blocks away that allow you to use their fitness center for free during your stay — I obviously definitely took advantage of that! You can read more about the amenities they offer here! I feel like I could have easily moved in to the Zero George and stayed there for the rest of my life.

We then enjoyed one fabulous game of cornhole, using this Matthais Kaupermann luxury cornhole set.  I don’t think I’ve ever sipped on champagne, while playing cornhole, but hey there’s a first time for everything.  I’m definitely not a good shot when it comes to cornhole, so you may not want to be on my team…I’m good for moral support though ha!

We also were able to meet some amazing gals at the Lilly Pulitzer #LillyPaintsCharleston Happy Hour on Tuesday! It was so fun getting to chat and meet so many lovely gals, as well as strut around in my Lilly crop top & skirt set! You can check out some of their new Resort 365 arrivals here!

At the end of the week, we were lucky enough to indulge in one of the best meals ever at Zero Cafe and Bar, prepared by Chef Vinson Petrillo — who was also a winner of Food Network’s Chopped.  You can see the pictures above, but everything was drool-worthy.  We started off with avocado toast with caviar and beef tartare, as well as scallops, octopus, and asparagus.  Our main portions of the meal included beef wellington {with foie gras!}, chilean sea bass, and sliced pork chop.  Of course, we had to cure our sweet tooth so we ended with their chocolate dessert that was amazing.  The menu changes daily, depending on what the chef wants to prepare! It keeps the creative juices flowing and I. dig. that. It felt like I was sitting in his home as he was preparing our meal! Charleston is the most charming city and I’ll definitely be returning.  If you’re planning a trip and you pretty much want your life transformed by a hotel — then I would definitely suggest staying at Zero George! Not only will you experience a luxurious stay, delicious food, and a friendly staff, but you will also feel like you just arrived home for the week!
