Who knew that mini button denim skirts would be at the forefront of my closet? Hey, they don’t resemble the hollister denim skirts circa 2002, but still, I never would have guessed. I love the cut of this skirt — I think that’s what initially made me give it a chance. Typically my eyes run right over denim skirts, not even registering that they’re there, but this one caught my eye, and for quite a few good reasons. The material is denim, but it’s a soft/stretchy denim, so it’s pretty comfortable to wear. The buttons down the front give an otherwise basic skirt a modern and chic twist. Lastly, the skirt isn’t straight cut, but instead slightly flared, which I love because it make it more flattering!
I really wanted to wear a top that would not only complement the denim skirt, but give the outfit a more feminine vibe. That’s when this embellished blouse from Chicwish came into my mind. It worked perfectly because it gave the outfit just enough ‘glam’ to dress it up. My favorite thing to wear during the spring is white or ivory blouses, because there are so many different ways you can wear them throughout the season. Chicwish has quite the number of ivory tops that will soon become staples in your wardrobe! This minimal wrapped top is almost exactly like the one I’m wearing except without the embellishments, while this blouse has the cutest bow detail in the front. Not feeling either of them? You can always go with my tried and true option: a Chicwish off the shoulder top!

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
Love this skirt!

This skirt is really cute and I love how you styled it! For some reason I’m having a hard time going back to denim skirts probably because of overwearing the Abercrombie/Hollister ones when younger 😉 You have inspired me to try it again though!
