A plaid shirt dress, especially a flannel one, is always a good choice.  It’s the perfect piece when transitioning from winter into spring.  It’s still warm enough for chilly days, but cool enough to not overheat you.  It’s also such a great casual date night outfit.  I’ve already worn this flannel dress a good two or three times out to lunch/dinner with Andrew.  During the day, I’ve paired it with my fave wellies when it was raining, while in the evening, I paired it with heels, like these espadrille wedge sandals.
