Crested Butte, CO is truly a winter wonderland.  I can’t get over how stunning everything is! Andrew and I bundled up for the cold almost every day and went on hikes up the mountain on various ‘trails’ {and by trails, I mean paths made by cross-country skiers}.  There was quite the magical moment one evening when we finally reached the top of the path {definitely not the top of the mountain} and witnessed the sunset — it rendered me speechless.  Andrew was able to snag a couple photos of it, luckily!

This was clearly not an outfit I wore hiking.  Although, you’ll see more of those kinds of outfits this week! I wore this ivory turtleneck, which comes in other colors here, and this scarf to dinner one of the nights, and I was able to shed my coat for a few minutes to brave the cold & take some photos.  This scarf is such a great color, especially during the wintertime.  I think many people may think that this scarf is too fitting for fall, but it definitely can be worn throughout the winter months, as well.
