Happy New Year, y’all!

Don’t you love this white midi dress?! It’s the perfect outfit to kick off 2016 in — clean & crisp {just how I like it}.  This dress is so flattering and comes in multiple different colors {the blush pink one is adorable}.  This is also a great outfit for all you brides out there! I was showing my friend it the other day as an idea for her rehearsal dinner dress! Adding a calf hair belt also adds a great pop of pattern that’s easy and simple.

I hope everyone had a fun & safe NYE last night.  What are your all’s resolutions?! I feel like so many people have fitness resolutions — which, don’t get me wrong, that’s a very good thing, especially if they’re not used to being active.  However, I tend to be pretty good about staying fit and living a healthy lifestyle {minus the weekend alcoholic beverages, but the older I get, the less frequent it is because I get hungover after, like, 2 glasses of wine}, so I tend to choose other ‘types’ of resolutions.

This year, my resolution is to live more in the present and worry less about the future.  I’m one of those people — the planner — I always have everything planned.  If it doesn’t go as planned, I get not necessarily cranky, but anxious, and I tend to take that stress/anxiety out on those around me.  So, if anybody has advice on how to tackle that one…well, you just let me know, because I’m gonna need it.  I was thinking maybe yoga/meditation? But, I don’t think I can handle that much zen.
