PreWorkout Flourless Muffins

high energy flourless muffins recipe, almond milk muffins, p28 spread muffins, p28 muffins, muffins with oats, preworkout muffins, postworkout muffins, gluten free muffins // grace wainwright from a southern drawlHere is the recipe for my favorite preworkout flourless muffins!  Since these muffins are protein packed (I use P28 signature blend spread), they’re great for both a pre and post workout snack.  I typically make a protein shake after my workouts though and save a muffin for my pre-workout snack about an hour before I hit the gym!  Make sure to stay hydrated and drink lots of water!

Ingredients:

2 cups of rolled oats (uncooked)

1/4 cup of all natural peanut butter

1/3 cup of P28 signature blend spread

1/3 cup sweetened vanilla almond milk

1 tsp baking powder

1 banana

1/3 cup of cranberries

1/3 cup of chopped dates

1/4 cup of dark chocolate (I used 70% cocoa)

1 tsp honey (optional)

 

Directions:

Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl.  Spray muffin pan with coconut oil (or any non-stick spray of your preference) and place mixture in the cups.  Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350º F, or until golden brown.  It should yield around 8 high energy muffins! Enjoy!

Side Note: Typically if I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk, I’ll add the optional honey.  If I use sweetened vanilla almond milk, I’ll nix the honey.

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another.
