This black midi dress is one of my favorite dresses! Y’all may have remembered me wearing the red one for a Valentine’s Day inspired post way back when.  I loved the dress so much {and saw that it was restocked in all colors}, so I went ahead and purchased the classic black one for my trip to NY! It’s the perfect length and is super comfortable.  There’s the prettiest zipper detailing along the whole back of the dress too.  The fabric is stretchy, but firm {does that make any sense?}, so it properly tucks everything in if ya know what I mean.

Also, how amazing are these pumps? They come in so many different colors, but the taupe ones are what first caught my eye.  Sometimes, I just have to go with my gut on these kinds of things. If I overthink it, I’ll end up getting a color that I already have in three other pairs of shoes.  I’ve tried tying the shoes in the front, the back, and the sides–all of them look great!
