A little different than my usual style, but I’m really into this gingham midi skirt from Chicwish. Something about the bold red color, gingham, and flowy feel makes me wish that summer would stick around for awhile longer. I’ll be stepping a little out of my comfort zone this week with some Chicwish outfits, so I’m super excited to share them with you. I think it’s nice to change it up every now and then and to try new things. I usually stay true to my typical style, but try to tweak it every now and then to avoid getting in a ‘rut’.
Chicwish has some pretty fabulous midi skirts that’ll make you want to twirl your little heart out. If your style is anything like mine, then it’ll allow you to step out of your comfort zone–even if it’s just for a little bit….but don’t ask me to actually twirl, because I’ll stumble and trip immediately. How pretty is this option, this one, or this one? These plaid options will be perfect for transitioning into fall!
Also, make sure to follow them on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for more style inspiration!
A big thank you to Chicwish for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
love the skirt with the shoes!
