Aqua Distressed Denim Shorts

I actually don’t wear shorts that often, but these aqua distressed denim shorts caught my eye due to its vibrant color and distressed vibes. I usually stick with pants/jeans or skirts and I’m honestly not too sure why. I think it’s just out of habit. I keep my shorts in a drawer, so when I’m staring at my closet and trying to figure out an outfit for the day, I just never think of going into my drawer and grabbing some shorts. How pathetic and sad is that?! I need to keep a post-it on the outside of the drawer to remind me!
For this outfit, I figured these denim shorts should get their own spotlight, so I went with this basic tank and of course, a gold necklace. I’m sure everyone is shocked by that one. I’m really digging this tank because it comes in so many colors and is only $20. Y’all may have remembered that I styled the light pink version on my Instagram. It’s definitely a great basic piece that you can pair with anything. Plus, it can be worn all year — you’ll probably see me layering this in the fall with a chunky cardigan!

You look fabulous in this outfit and I am in love with the shorts. Can you advise how they fit it? I am a size 2, but have muscular and not lean legs. I am wondering if they would be flattering fit on me.
I’m usually a size 6 and am wearing a medium! I have pretty big quads and they still look fine. It’s free returns (a free return label is included in the package) so you can always return it if you don’t like the way they fit! I personally love them because they aren’t tight around the thigh area.
