The fall and winter months call for the perfect boots, right? Right. Well, you might have remembered me discussing how I have yet to find the perfect black booties.  Well, y’all, my time has come.  I found some fabulous Steve Madden booties from Nordstrom –and let me tell you, it was love at first sight.  Nordstrom has the best selection of fall shoes, and in this case, especially booties. They’ve got these Sam Edelman booties that I’m crushing on hard, and how about these Frye boots that I just snagged a few weeks ago?  The more shoes and boots the merrier? Is that how the saying goes? {Or maybe that’s just my saying.} I feel like I owe Nordstrom a slice of pie and a back rub for making my feet so happy.

When I was getting dressed for date night one night, I wanted a casual chic outfit.  Andrew and I usually grab dinner and then, somehow, we end up always on our feet somewhere.  So, I decided to go for this Burberry jacket {which is so comfy & warm}, a striped sweater, and some cords.  These Steve Madden booties were the perfect asset, because the heel is just thick enough to let me walk in them for hours if I wanted to.  Y’all have probably seen from my Instagram that I keep wearing them…but I’m not apologizing for it–they’re just that great!
