Hey girl! What's Your Signature Latte? Whether it's a frothy latte or a cold brew, your personality shines through. Find out what your java ingredients are!
For this week’s Photo Tip Thursday, I thought I’d cover a more unique method to spicing up your outfit photos. It involves adding props. You know, something other than your outfit that might have something to do with the location that you’re shooting at.
With the fall weather rolling around, you’ll find yourself surrounded by one of the most amazing props that you don’t even have to buy. Leaves. After you’re done shooting the standard outfit photos, grab a handful of leaves and throw them up in the air, having your photographer snap a burst of photos. These types of candid shots add an element of playfulness and will really help sell the story of your outfit.
When the seasons change, you can always adapt your natural props as well. In winter for instance, you can swap out the leaves on the ground for a handful of snow…just try not to accidentally drop in on your head like Grace did in the photos below.
Of course you can use whatever props you’d like, and they definitely don’t have to be natural. An umbrella on a rainy day provides for some unique photos for example.

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
Fall is my favorite time to take pictures, you really can have so much fun with the leaves!
