Hey girl! What's Your Signature Latte? Whether it's a frothy latte or a cold brew, your personality shines through. Find out what your java ingredients are!
Windy days. We’ve all experienced them at some point in time while trying to take outfit photos. They make a mess of your hair, cause your outfit to flap around in odd ways and are in general, just a pain in the buns when it comes to taking outfit photos.
Wind can make for really neat photos though. Lighting conditions permitting, stand your subject at a 45 degree angle to the way the wind is blowing and then have them look directly into the wind. This will cause the hair to blow backwards behind the subject’s head and not in a place where you don’t want it to…i.e. their face. Also, by having them position their body at a 45 degree angle, outfits with a lot of loose fabric {this is especially important with dresses} can flow to the side of the subject and not awkwardly bunch up between their legs.
Try positioning yourself or your subject in this manner next time you go out for an outfit shoot on a really windy day. You’ll get some really cool shots!

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
Wind can make look photos natural but it can be quite challenging too… I was facing that situation yesterday when my empire dress made me look like 9 months pregnant 😉
