I’ve got a funny story for y’all.  So, everyone just brace yourselves.  One of my friends came in town this weekend so we all decided to go out to the usual area of good restaurants and bars.  We first met at one of my friend’s condos first, where she surprised me with gummy bears {thanks Deepa}.  Gummy bears, you ask? What am I, twelve years old?  Yes.  I love gummy bears…but specifically, these gummy bears that she just got me because they’re from Huber’s Farm.  They’re made there and they’re extra colorful and extra flavorful.  Since I hadn’t driven there, I couldn’t leave the gummy bears in my car…so I put them in a ziploc bag and shoved them into my clutch {which was bulging out from the gummy bears}.  We were at a bar grabbing a few drinks and it was like the gummy bears were beckoning me so I busted them out and started chomping down…in the middle of the bar with a bunch of people around me.  I offered to share them {I was trying to be polite}, buuut apparently, drugged gummy bears are a thing {how could they defile them like that!}? And so, a majority of people thought I was offering them drugged gummy bears for an extra weird night…but I had to explain that they were honestly just gummy bears and were really meant as a snack.

Is this what being “old” feels like?  When you bring gummy bears in your clutch?  If so, I think I like it because I’m always down for snack time.
