I ordered this dress about a month ago, and I was so excited to have found it because I’m obsessed with anything gingham print.  I had originally ordered it to wear it for fourth of July but it was a wee bit big on me and I had decided to get it tailored.  Little did I know that it would take a month to get back {grrr, still bitter}.  Then, when I finally get it back, I realize it’s see through. So, I go on a hunt for a slip.   Do you know how hard it is to find a slip?  Pretty hard.  I felt like I was in the 60’s wearing it, but I’d rather people not see my bod underneath.  Of course, by time I get the dress back and finally find a slip so my britney doesn’t show, everybody and their mothers have the dress.  #sigh.  We’ll just have to ignore that part.

 When we were taking these pictures, I knew I shouldn’t have put perfume on until after the shoot, but I had forgotten per uje {usual}.  Every mosquito was trying to attack me– I kid you not.  It was awful.  I even saw one on my foot who had the guts to bite me TWICE while I was watching him.  WHO DOES THAT?  No respect at all.

In other strange news, last night, a couple of my friends came over to learn how to do my smoky eye makeup.  Yes, you heard that correctly.  I went through my routine step by step.  My friend, Autumn, even took notes {what a good little student}.  But then again, this was Autumn’s second attempt at learning the routine…she didn’t take notes the first time and completely forgot how to do everything.  GRACE PERIOD IS OVER Y’ALL.  {Granted, I did teach her the first time on Spring Break last year and we had bigger things to worry about, like which kind of sangria to make}.  The worst part was definitely teaching my winged eyeliner…it kinda comes with time and practice.

…I’m pretty sure these were their words when I took off my makeup, “Grace has a zit?”.  Yes, y’all, I get zits too…I just know how to cover them up.   #rude
