Random tidbits:
1. I bit my finger (again) while attempting to eat sushi. Yes, I was using my hands and not a utensil…go ahead, judge me. Â It took everything out of me not to stomp my feet and cry like a child. Â Instead, I took it like a man and even bit the other finger on purpose. Â Take that.
2. I bought 50 SPF sunscreen for the first time ever to prepare myself for a July 4th lake-filled weekend. Â Will I use it? Let’s be real…no.
3. I’m due for a mani/pedi, but I’ve been scared away from the salon since last month when I looked around and realized that more men were getting pedicures then women.
4. Groupon will be the death of me one day.
5. I’m so excited for the Gilt pop-up store that opened today. I can already feel the anxiety of crazy shoppers who will trample others for a size small. Â If only I were allowed to videotape it.
6. The boyfriend and I are going to be jammin’ out to a Randy Houser concert tonight. Â Maybe I’ll slap his tush in public to the beat of the music. Â Who needs entertainment when I provide my own?

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
