I’ve always loved a good quality shearling vest.  It’s just so dang hard to find one that’s at a decent price point.  Luckily, I found this one that’s under $60!  Great quality, comfortable, perfect for fall– check, check, check.

I also went with a fall-inspired bold lip.  It’s kind of funny, because when I was doing my makeup that day, I was running extremely late {which seems kind of the usual these days}, and only had time to do my basics: foundation, mascara, light contouring, and basic winged eyeliner with no eye shadow.  Normally, I would think that’s more than sufficient, since I was only going on a dinner date with Andrew, but I knew that we were going to photograph this outfit prior.  This sounds awful but with photos, you sometimes have to wear a whole lot of makeup for it to even make a difference in a photo…unless you’re wearing sunglasses {trick of the day}.  So, usually, when I know I’m going to take outfit photos, I’ll make sure to do my ‘night’ makeup look {for when I’m going out with my friends}–aka the works.  I always tell Andrew that I’m putting on my war paint.

Since I wasn’t wearing that much of ‘intense’ makeup, I decided to go with an intense lip.  Sometimes I find that when you’re wearing a bold lip, you want to go easy on the eye makeup.  It {luckily} worked out perfectly!
