Well, today’s look is a fun one! This Halloween skeleton makeup was the perfect costume I was looking for, especially paired with this long sequin dress. To be honest, it took me a few trial runs to get the hang of doing the half skeleton makeup. I started by following a few tutorials I found online {here & here}, but then ended up winging it the last time–it’s a lotttt harder than it looks. I’m so excited for Halloween this year, and this is definitely the creepy, yet chic, vibe I was going for! I can’t wait to recreate it again next week.
For those of you wondering, here are a few tidbits about the outfit. This dress is beautiful, BUT I would size up at least one size! It runs a bit small. Also, if you’re interested in recreating my smokey eye, then you can find my tutorial for it over here.
I also think I’ll be keeping this dress fresh in my closet for New Year’s Eve. I mean, where else would I wear a long full sequin dress? My sister has a black tie wedding she has to go to on NYE, so I’m trying to convince her to stop looking for dresses and to wear this one. It’s so pretty–I would hate to only wear it once for Halloween!
Hope y’all have a fabulous weekend!

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. So, grab a cup of coffee, pull up a seat, and try not to bawl your eyes out (because I know we did). Every time we look through our photos and watch our video, we cry the happiest tears.
It’s crazy what can happen in a year. I met the love of my life and the rest is history. I was having a hard time ending this post, because frankly, I think I could talk about that evening forever. Then I realized that this post doesn’t have an ending, but instead, a beginning. Thank you so much for all of the love, excitement, and gratitude.
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
This is might actually be my favorite Halloween look ever. And I’ve never even liked the costumes with makeup! You did an amazing job, and that dress is seriously perfect! Happy Halloween!
