Well, you may have noticed that it looks a bit different around here.  That’s because A Southern Drawl got quite the face lift.  Last night, it looked more like a face lift from the beginning of a ‘Botched’ episode, but now it finally looks like the final product where everything is back to being beautiful.  I’m still trying to work out some kinks so just bear with me if you see something that’s a little bit off {and if you do see something that’s tragically wrong, please feel free to shoot me an email at asoutherndrawlblog@gmail.com to bring it to my attention}.

Anyways, today, I’m so excited to be sharing three fabulous chic and sophisticated outfits! All of these Ann Taylor outfits can definitely be taken from ‘work to play’.  This little white dress is not only great for work and for a night out, but also great for any gals that are also brides-to-be! It’s the perfect dress for a rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, etc.  I rarely ever wear navy accessories, like this pretty Ann Taylor purse, but I decided to go for it in some of these outfits. I usually stick with cognac or black accessories so that I can wear it with various outfits, but realized that with this navy one, I can do just the same! This fashion first was definitely one that is going to be a repeated offender, because I’m completely loving the sophisticated and almost preppy vibe it brings to the outfits.

This eyelet peplum top also stole my heart immediately.  Most of y’all saw me post it on Instagram, and let me tell you, it is the cutest summer top ever! It even comes in navy, and how could I not pair it with some striped skinnies? My probably favorite item of all of these outfits is this cropped jacket.  I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s a closet staple.  You can mix and match so much with it and form so many different outfits.  In this Instagram post, I mix and matched this Ann Taylor dress with this jacket, and it turned out to be adorable. I love a good staple piece like that, don’t you?
