I’ve had this sweater for about 2 years now.  It’s probably one of the greatest purchases I’ve ever made, because well, it has stripes…and hearts.  It’s a great item to wear not only on Valentine’s Day but also just as an everyday outfit.  How can you go wrong with stripes?  You can’t {I’m a bit biased}.  When I purchased this sweater, I had accidentally bought the petite version of it–ironic because I’m so dang tall.  It surprisingly fit decent enough though so I didn’t have to exchange it.  It’s just a bit short in length, so it works out for when I tuck it into skirts {like y’all may remember from this post or this post}.  I also love a good tulle skirt.  I mostly wear it for the holidays, because it’s just so festive.  I have a longer version of this tulle skirt as well, and once, when I got in the car, I guess I didn’t realize that I closed the door on it and some of the skirt was hanging out.  It was pretty tragic.  I was wondering why people driving next to me were giving me some weird facial expressions.  I live in KY though, so I’m sure they’ve seen worse…

I’m not too sure what Andrew has planned this year for Valentine’s Day.  It’s a whole month away, so luckily, I can mentally prepare myself for the corniest day of the year.  To be honest, the day {mostly just the sappiness} kinda makes me cringe, but we celebrate it anyways.  Although, I’m totally game for a sketchy box of chocolates.  I live for those.  Every year we go to our favorite fancy schmancy steakhouse, but there’s always a surprise during some part of the night.  Andrew’s got a bit of a romantic side so he never fails to pull something cheesy {yet wonderful}.  His birthday is the day after, so then it’s my turn to do the planning…yikes!
