This classic checkered top from C.C. Lake is by far one of my favorite tops to pattern mix. It goes with literally anything and everything. Exhibit A: checkered top + leopard flounce skirt. I can’t wait to show y’all what other patterned items I can pair with this sucker! I also have my eyes on this checkered dress (I swear I don’t have a checker obsession), this statement necklace, and these polka dot jeans! They’re on my list…which is a good thing.Also, I’m convinced my computer has a vendetta against me. I almost had all of my photos get deleted today (insert horrified emoji here) but luckily, those little apple geniuses saved the day yet again. Maybe I’ll bring them some caramel to dip their apples in as a thank you. {See what I did there?}
p.s. how pretty are those colored trees up there? Oh, fall, how I love thee.

There’s not a day that goes by when I don’t feel so blessed to be Jordan’s wife. He is my everything. These photos and video are the sweetest reminder of our love for one another. One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.
