It has been raining cats and dogs lately (wait, that is the appropriate phrase, right?). In the above pictures, although you {hopefully} can’t tell, I’m being poured on. It was sprinkling and then of course when I stepped outside, it poured. Sorry for the squinty eyes and the look of death on my face.
A friend of mine had called me and said she had a “fashion emergency.” (It really wasn’t an emergency; she tends to exaggerate like me). She had a date to go on and it was pouring rain, but thought that if she wore her wellies, it’d be hideous. Oh but little did she know…
Hopefully, she learned quickly.
So I thought I’d post an outfit in honor of her and her successful date night. To you, young grasshopper, (raise your invisible glasses, please) because you know exactly. who. you. are.

Dark Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread
One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake my dark chocolate chip pumpkin bread! I’ve made it *so* many times for me, J, and friends & family. It’s moist, decadent, and super easy to make! It also makes for a great DIY housewarming gift.

Even when you're being poured on (which I don't see so therefore, I don't believe you) you look gorgeous. I love rain boots but the only ones I have are bright yellow. I tend to think they're awesome but my fiance doesn't like to be seen in public with me in them. I might need some like yours.
